Guys, this has nothing to do with guitars, but I'm looking for help to play a joke on my brother. We live beside each other and each of us mows about 10 acres around our homes. I keep mine well trimmed. He mowed his today for the first time THIS YEAR. He doesn't have email, but if anyone is willing to drop him a postcard or note thanking him or congratulating him it would be a cool joke. Tell hime you heard about it or read it in your local headlines, or from the 6 o'clock news, etc. The overseas guys might even say they saw a satellite photo of it and it really improves the looks of the planet. (No letterheads or hint of guitars or woodworking, please). If anyone wishes to do this, his address is: Dennis Wisdom 105 Tammy Lane Beebe, AR 72012 USA If this post is too far off base, just don't respond and I'll get the message. Ron |

Wow! Cool, Bruce, thanks fellows. This could turn out to be a really good one. I appreciate all. Russell that would be fantastic! Don that sounds great. It's not the first joke I've pulled on him so I'm sure he'll eventually know who started it, but the diverse locations of you guys will puzzle him for a while. Ron |

Apparently my brother doesn't like to cut his. Actually, I do enjoy it. I have a Kubota tractor with a good finish mower and I love puttering around on it. It gives me a break from everything else. I might consider a couple of goats, though. Ron |

I can't promise anything, but I'll try to send him a postcard during my lunch hour sometime this week (if I get a lunch hour this week - we're REALLY busy). In the mean time I'll have to think of something clever to say on the card. This could take a while! ![]() Imagine cutting your lawn so infrequently, that you get cards from people in the UK and Australia when you do. The ultimate pi** take, I love it! |

Thanks, Paul It will amaze him to get notes from such far off places. You guys are good sports to do this for me, a newcomer, who has only taken from your store of knowledge and not yet contributed. I'm humbled. (and I'll stick to guitar questions after this) Ron |

Ron, I will send out my letter. It is all made up military gobblygook! There is no such systems in place (that I know of!) It should "awaken" him and be funny as hell when he reads it. Confused, surprised, and ????????? I would love to see his face when he gets all these letters! ![]() Mark |
